Birth Center Nurse

Before working as a nurse, Chelsea started her journey at the Atlanta Birth Center in 2018 and 2019 as a volunteer. It was here where she saw her first non-hospital birth and fell in love with the care that midwives could provide. Since then, Chelsea has volunteered as a doula, worked on research focusing on Black maternal health problems, assisted with home births, and worked in postpartum, all while passionately advocating for BIPOC and Queer and Trans communities.
