Hannah Walters, CNM, DNP

Midwife Fellow

Hannah was born and raised in Watkinsville, Georgia. She went to the University of Georgia and later nursing school at the Medical College of Georgia. She continued to live in Athens while working as a forensic nurse until moving to Atlanta for graduate school. She attended Emory University where she studied Nurse Midwifery and got her Doctorate in Nursing Practice, focusing on public health. Her research focused on capturing midwives as the delivering provider on birth certificates and understanding what factors play into data accuracy. Hannah has a passion for caring for people who can get pregnant and working to reduce disparities in healthcare. She lives in Clarkston with her dog Rose, and enjoys spending time rock climbing, running, reading, and gardening.
