Important Update
We’re sharing an important update about our services, one made in collaboration with our Board of Directors with care, intention, and a strong commitment to our future.
After ten years of serving families and welcoming more than 3,000 babies, Atlanta Birth Center will pause birth center deliveries effective September 30, 2026. This transition marks the close of our current facility and the beginning of our next chapter. It is a necessary step to strengthen our operations, expand access to care, and build a more sustainable model for the communities we serve.
If you are currently in care with us, you will continue to be fully supported. Clients with due dates before September 14, 2026, will proceed with birth center deliveries as appropriate. For those due after that date, our team will work closely with you to transition your care plan with thoughtfulness and clarity. Beginning in October, we will offer home birth and planned hospital delivery options ensuring families continue to have meaningful choices in how and where they give birth.
All prenatal, postpartum care and well-person gynecology will continue without interruption. We are also expanding services to better support individuals and families across the lifespan, including more gynecologic care, mental health services, and lactation support. Our focus remains on continuity, clinical excellence, and deeply personalized care.
We understand this change may bring questions or uncertainty. We are here for you. A detailed FAQ is available below, and our team is ready to provide direct support.
To every family who has trusted us, thank you. You are at the heart of everything we do. We are actively working toward reopening birth center delivery services in a new space and are in the final stages of selecting a location within the Atlanta Metro area that reflects our shared vision for care.
